We have finally managed to secure the funding for the Project – celebrations all round and so many thanks to all of you who have supported the scheme. There is little doubt that the strong show of community involvement was a factor in making our bid successful where so many others were not so lucky.

The following day, Rob Parkinson, chairman of the Ilsington Village Hall Committee, gave an emotional and victorious speech at the Community Market and we all joined him in raising a glass of celebratory fizz!
