2018 has been a busy year for the shop and we have welcomed a new paid Admin Assistant to help the manager with all paperwork.

Maintenance of the shop has also been high on the list of priorities this year and has included the sanding and varnishing of the shop floor by a local carpenter. We hope you agree he has done an amazing job that will keep our shop smart for many years to come. We have also installed a new EPOS system (till and back office system), completed some interior decoration and also upgraded and changed our accounts system (software and hardware) to help future proof our systems in line with legal requirements and accounting regulations.

This year our shop has again suffered with a fall in turnover and there is not enough money in the bank to enable us to make a community award. We are hopeful that by keeping the shop presentable and welcoming we will continue to attract customers and keep this wonderful little shop the hub of the community.
